Arctic Circle
In January 2005 I went with my wife Hazel to Levi, Lapland in the Arctic Circle. We went to see the Northern lights, try Dog Sledding & Reindeer Sleigh Riding. A WONDERFUL experience at MINUS 27 degrees.....Boy is that cold.....  ¶ 1:18 pm 0 comments

Reelin and a Rockin'
Saturday 30th October 2004

Saturday Night saw us at the Winter Gardens in Margate to watch the ReelinandaRockin show put on by Derek Franks. We saw :-

Dave Dee (from Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich)

30th Wedding Anniversary
Saturday 9th October 2004

Dickie & Hazel's 30th Wedding Anniversary (14th Sep 2004) party was held at the Pavilion at Westgate. We had over 135 guests and a live band called One For The Road. We caught up with old friends, relatives and workmates. The evening passed far far too quickly.

Scott Steadman Memories

Saturday 5th June 2004

A fellow worker and friend Scott Steadman (36) died on Saturday . I attended his funeral on Tuesday 15th June 2004.He leaves behind a wife & 5 year old son. His wife is expecting their second child in October. I really will miss his banter and enthusiasm. I salute you Scott.
